Betsy Hammond is the firm’s Managing Principal and Chief Executive Officer. She is responsible for the overall direction and strategy of the firm, including initiatives to introduce new services and grow the firm both organically and through strategic acquisition, and assure that Findley remains a trusted advisor to our clients.
Betsy joined the firm in 1992 and has held a variety of leadership roles, most recently serving as Findley’s Chief Operating Officer, where she oversaw the firm’s day-to-day operations to assure seamless delivery of services to clients, and to drive profitable and sustainable growth for the firm. Prior to its acquisition by Findley Davies in 2016, Betsy served as Managing Principal of BPS&M, a subsidiary of Wells Fargo & Company.
Earlier in her career, Betsy served as Director of Actuarial Services and worked with a number of the firm’s largest clients in a managing consultant role. She advised organizations in the healthcare, banking, manufacturing, agriculture, and professional services industries, on benefit plan strategies, funding of qualified and nonqualified plans, and compliance matters.
Betsy is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA), an Enrolled Actuary (EA), a Fellow of the Conference of Consulting Actuaries (FCA) and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA). Betsy received her bachelor’s degree from Davidson College. She received her master’s degree from Georgia State University. She is a member of Phi Beta Kappa.Download Bio PDF
